What is Children's Music Theater?

Children's Music Theater, or CMT is an annual week-long summer camp held in Albuquerque, NM culminating in a performance for friends and family of the participants.

We are committed to providing a fun, and uplifting environment for kids ages K-5th grade to sing, dance and perform a short musical together. The directors spend a lot of time dividing the roles so that every child has at least one moment in the show to shine!

We are also committed to keeping the cost low, so that families can participate together. One of the ways we do that is donate our time in organizing and directing the show. The other way is for each participant to provide their own costume for the show. Information is given each year as to what will be needed.

Unfortunately, I can't afford to foot the entire cost of production myself, so there is a "recommended donation" per child (which varies according to the year) to help pay for cost of production which includes, but is not limited to music, program copies, licenses, snacks, set materials and construction, sound engineers, duct tape, masking tape, etc.

CMT enrollment is limited to 50 participants, so stay tuned for information regarding registration.
